Acquired from a jade artist right after he created this special piece based on the yellow jadeite material. Pixiu is the majestic symbol of wealth and prosperity in China culture with its ability to help its owner to grow and keep wealth. It’s normally in lion and dog shape with decorations of holding coins. This rare recreation of Pixiu is in deep carving with open carving areas like the mouth, belly, and tail areas, demonstrating the complexity of the creation process that only high-level jade artists can master.
This sculpture is in new and perfect condition and can be enjoyed at all angles with its pleasant yellow jadeite colors. It’s also a great piece for dog lovers as it has the design of a crouched dog.
